The Lake Placid Olympic Center will host the third annual Adirondack Winter Invitational presented by the Golden Arrow on Friday, Nov. 28 and Saturday, Nov. 29, showcasing four teams from three of the premier Division I collegiate men’s hockey conferences in the nation.

Representing the Hockey East Conference, the University of Massachusetts Lowell, and representing the Great Northwest Athletic Conference, University of Alaska Fairbanks, will face off against ECAC Hockey schools St. Lawrence and Clarkson, with each team playing two games over Thanksgiving Weekend for a shot at the Adirondack Winter Invitational trophy. All games will be held in the historic Herb Brooks Arena, the iconic venue of the Miracle on Ice game during the 1980 Winter Olympic Games. The tournament winner will be determined through an overall points system.
